Data Mining is a different aspect of data analysis. It is not OLTP, it is not even dimensional modeling or OLAP. We will see in this all hands-on session what do we have in Analysis Services to enable us open up secret patterns in our own data.

The interface we are using will be Excel Data Mining add-in. We will combine the ease of use of Office and hard power of SQL Server Analysis Services. The theorotical side of data mining will be also touched.
